Youth STEM Foundation provides scholarship opportunities to school-aged youth through extracurricular school programs.
Youth, (K-12), who would otherwise not have the exposure to extended education in science, technologies, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) programs due to financial strain or availability within their current educational environment, can apply for financial support through Youth STEM Foundation.
Coding with Kids and Youth STEM Foundation has established an agreement for supporting youth access to the Coding with Kids after-school programs. Coding with Kids is a great program with a number of classes including coding, animation, robotics.
As our society evolves, technology continues to take on a larger role in day to day activities, replacing jobs which would otherwise be considered repetitive in action and garnering a need for more individuals who can command robotics, data analytics, code development, engineering, and scientific development. Individuals who are exposed to STEM programs in extension to the state-mandated curriculum have a higher potential of opportunity for job placement and career development post-high-school.
Youth STEM Foundation is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) which operates on donations, grants, and public support.
To apply for scholarship support, contact the board of directors at Brooke@YouthStemFoundation.org or Kim@YouthStemFoundation.org. We will respond within 3-5 business days and guide you directly through the application process.
